SUMMARY:

Seeking a Systems Engineering Manager in charge of logic and software Engineering departments for manufacturer of heavy trucks. Will be responsible for coordination and implementation of all system and software endeavors in the production of heavy trucks. A DIRECT-HIRE POSITION with Excellent Benefits

INDUSTRY: MANUFACTURING

LOCATION: LYNCHBURG, VA REGION

SALARY RANGE: $ 57,310 per year

 

SUMMARY:

Will be in charge of Project Input and Specifications as well as price control and sales support with the goal of generating professional and high quality proposals for customers' project orders and applications.

  • Create proposals for customers project orders and applications
  • Support Company's external and internal customers seeking application assistance with Company's products and services. 
  • Maximize Company's revenue and profitability while controlling risk exposure on Project Orders
  • Support Marketing and R&D with verification of technical information
  • Lead application training for internal and external customers
  • Assist with process improvements as needed
  • Attend industry and association meetings as Company's applications expert.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.S. degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in rotating equipment industry
  • Knowledge of Project and Specifications Management
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to generate, organize and maintain Project Order documentation and communications at the start of major Project Orders
  • Experience summarizing Project and Applications in the form of reports and presentations.
